Please pray for Alanis and Ariel (my kids) health that the Lord protect them from any sickness. We had a very cold winter this year.

I am very grateful for the Lord faithfulness to us as a family over the past years. Please pray that God may continue to supply our needs in every area of our lives physically spiritually and financially.

For my wife Veronica and my kids Alanis and Ariel that the Lord may continue to grow them to know Him better.

That the Lord may provide for travel expenses for the Pastor’s Conference in Arequipa (20 hours far from Lima by coach) 7^th-12^th October. I will be travelling together with my wife Veronica and my children Alanis and Ariel.    Pray for the Lord’s blessing upon the whole event.

Dear Friends:

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, maybe is a surprise for you to receive a letter from me after a long time, but I believe that in one way or another I am in your prayers as you are in mine.

I want to share with you what is happening here in Peru. My Wife Veronica and I have the privilege to serve God among the deaf children and their families here in Villa El Salvador, (40 minutes from Lima), in a Baptist Church called EFATA. This is a beautiful ministry sharing the Gospel to all but specially the deaf people in Peru.

According to one estimate, the deaf population of Peru is over a million. Many among this population live in poverty (and have to survive by means such as begging) they do not have normal access to education and there are few institutions that can fulfil their needs.

The most important need that they have is the spiritual need of the Gospel. I believe that when Our Lord Jesus Christ said “Therefore go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”….. Mat 28: 19, He referred to everyone even the deaf and I am thankful for the opportunity to share it and spend time with them.

My wife Veronica is helping me with the translation as she knows sign language already; it is obvious that I need to learn it myself to be able to introduce Jesus Christ to them. Until that I am involved in Ministry with their families that are not deaf and also sharing the good news here in Villa El Salvador and other places like Lurín and Nueva Esperanza (40 minutes far) with the outreach team of the church. The Team is involve in open air evangelism, literature distribution and door to door evangelism and organizing bible study groups in the people’s homes.

The Lord is answering our prayers and many people are hearing the good news and accepting Jesus as their personal saviour, last month we have 17 baptisms in the church and many others did professions of faith in Christ. It is really the gracious work of God and is a great joy for me when I see a person accepting Jesus as his Lord and Saviour. In that moments I remember what It says in Psalm 126:5-6 “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”

I will  like to have friends so that they can help me sending me bibles.
