Although tuition fees are chargeable annually, students are only required to pay one term's fees in advance. Tuition fee payments are due separately from the initial non-refundable Application Fee of £95.00 (Full-time Applicants) or £35.00 (Part-time Applicants).

There is a 10% discount for all annual tuition fees that are paid in full in advance. For instance, in September 2008, full-time annual fees for some programmes are £2,376 if paid in full in advance, instead of £2,640. Similarly, the fees for the part-time Monday evening Diploma in Ministerial Studies (for instance) are £529 if paid in full in advance, instead of £588.

Students who cannot pay their full annual fees in advance will be allowed the second option of making three equal payments during the first term in instalments as follows: 1st payment by 31 August, 2nd payment by 30 September and final payment by 31 October.

There is also a third option. After payment of the first terms fees, the balance of fees may be paid by monthly standing order through a local UK bank. This is explained in more detail in the college prospectus.

These are the course fees for the academic year starting in September 2008. Fees are subject to increase each year. Please see the ‘Policies on Fees’ that immediately follows.

Policies on Fees (Notes):

We depend on students’ fees for operating costs. We therefore lay strong emphasis upon financial responsibility by students, viewing prompt payment of fees as evidence of good stewardship.

  1. Tuition fee payments are due separately from the initial non-refundable Application Fee of £95.00 (full-time) or £35.00 (part-time).
  2. Students who pay their full annual fees in advance get a 10% discount, and therefore need only pay 90% of the full fees, as stated.
  3. Students who cannot pay their full annual fees in advance will be allowed to make three payments during the first term in instalments as follows: 1st payment by 31 August, 2nd payment by 30 September and final payment by 31 October. The third option is monthly standing order payments, as outlined in Option 3 below.
  4. Combined Programme: Students who enrol a “combined programme” such as the Postgraduate Diploma in Theology along with the MA in Missional Leadership will only be charged one set of tution fees, plus a £100 one-off surcharge.
  5. Postgraduate students will continue to be charged full annual tuition fees, even after the scheduled initial completion date of your programme up until the end of the academic year in which the final piece of coursework (i.e. final dissertation) has been graded.
  6. Late Applications: Those in the UK who apply after the deadline, if considered, may be subject to a Late Application Fee of £145.00. Those who do not wish to pay this should enrol for the next academic term.
  7. Exclusions: University registration, graduation fees and book costs are not normally included in the stated tuition prices.

Important Note: All new applicants must pay at least one term's fees before admission can be finalised and a Confirmation of Acceptance for Study issued.

Refund Policy

Note: All prospective students who apply to the college, and their sponsors, will be deemed to have read and understood this refund policy (also contained in the college prospectus), and are therefore legally bound by its terms.

No refunds will be made of Application Fees paid, under any circumstances. This includes those who are refused UK visas from their home country. However, refunds will be made on tuition fees paid within 24 months from initial application only. After 24 months, no refunds will be paid. Ask for the WRR (Withdrawal & Refund Request) Form.

In relation to tuition fees paid in advance, overseas applicants who have paid at least a full term’s fees and then withdraw based only on the fact that they were refused a visa (evidence of which must be submitted along with WRR form and original Confirmation of Acceptance for Study) will be entitled to a refund less an administrative charge of £200.

UK full-time applicants who have paid at least a full term’s fees and then withdraw will also be entitled to a refund less the administrative charge of £200. However, the WRR form must be returned along with the original Confirmation of Acceptance for Study that was sent.

P/T Applicants who withdraw using the WRR form will receive a refund of tuition fees paid less £100.

The Withdrawal Date is when we receive notification in writing and the completed WRR Form with relevant documents. You must allow up to 6 weeks for authorisation and payment of refunds. We only make refunds to recipients in the UK, not to applicants or sponsors overseas.

No refund of any fees paid will be made after a period of 24 months has lapsed from initial application.

Application Fees

All completed Student Applications must be returned with the relevant Application Fee. For Full-time Students, the Fee is £95. For Part-time Students, it is £35. After the interview stage (where applicable), students are then required to pay first term's fees before a Confirmation of Acceptance for Study can be made.
